Felece Tillman, a seasoned indie artist in jazz and soul, releases her debut EP, Soulful Tales. Known for her rich, emotive vocals and soulful, heartfelt storytelling, Felece first made waves with her single “Brighter Love”, which quickly gained traction for its uplifting melody and heartfelt message, resonating with listeners across the US and UK. Following this success, she released “Tell Me All About It”, a seductive love ballad and cover by Michael Franks that highlighted her vocal depth and versatility. Both singles have been celebrated by audiences and radio stations alike, cementing Felece’s place in the contemporary soul and jazz scene. Soulful Tales is an intimate five-track project that captures Felece’s experiences of love, heartache and rediscovery, all told through her unique blend of soul, smooth jazz and contemporary R&B.

Soulful Tales invites listeners on an emotional journey, with each song reflecting a personal chapter in Felece’s life. The EP features a blend of sultry Latin rhythms, tender R&B melodies and jazz influences, creating a comforting yet evocative atmosphere. Each track brings forth its own story, from the introspective melancholy of loss to the warmth of rekindled love on “Just When I Thought”. Among the highlights is the standout track “I Can’t Forget”, which captures the emotions of nostalgia and reflects on fond memories of a first love.
“This EP means so much to me – it’s hard to put into words”, shares Felece. “Each song on Soulful Tales captures a different part of my life, and I hope listeners will find their own stories in my songs as a songwriter, whether they’re reminiscing about a first love, mourning a loss or cherishing a rekindled romance.”
Produced by her longtime friend/ colleague DaMone Arnold in Pasadena CA, who has written and produced for artists like Jamie Foxx, Miki Howard and Gerald Albright, Soulful Tales is the result of a six-month collaboration involving voice notes, phone calls and in-studio sessions. Together, Felece and DaMone worked to craft music that reflects her unique sound and experiences, with contributions from talented musicians she has collaborated with over the years, including Al Carter (lead guitar on “I Can’t Forget” and “Push Me Away”), Stanley Cooper (lead guitar on “Just When I Thought”) and Eugene Chapman (saxophone on “Push Me Away”).
With Soulful Tales, Felece Tillman shares her heart and invites listeners to connect on a deeply personal level. The EP is available to buy/stream now on all platforms.
